Download the result, or download every image at once as a ZIP.
Why compress WebP images?
WebP is already an efficient format, but images exported from design tools or downloaded from the web are often saved at very high quality. Re-compressing them at a sensible quality can cut their size in half with no visible difference, which makes pages load faster and improves Core Web Vitals.
You can also hit an exact size limit, such as 100 KB for a CMS or marketplace, and the editor finds the best quality that fits. Crop, resize and rotate are available in the same place, so you only save once.
Frequently asked questions
What quality should I use for WebP?
Around 75–80 is a good balance for photos on websites. WebP holds up well at lower settings, so 60 is often fine for thumbnails and backgrounds.
Can I turn JPG or PNG into compressed WebP?
Yes. Any image you add is saved as WebP on this page, which is usually 25–35% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality.
Does WebP keep transparency?
Yes. Transparent areas in PNG or WebP images are kept when saving as WebP.
Is WebP supported everywhere?
All modern browsers support WebP. Some older apps and upload forms still only accept JPG, so use the Convert tab to save as JPG when you need it.
